Why We Filed the Sack-Education-Minister Petition First

· Cockroach Janta Party

Of all the demands a satirical political party could lead with, the resignation of a single Union Minister is the least romantic. It is also the most pointed. A petition with a name attached, asking for an outcome that the system is fully equipped to deliver, leaves no room for the usual reply: this is just venting.

CJP filed the Sack the Education Minister petition first for exactly that reason. We want the test case to be unambiguous.

What the petition asks

Three things. One, the resignation of the current minister within thirty days. Two, the appointment of a successor with verifiable academic credentials — not the press-release kind, the peer-reviewed kind. Three, an independent audit of every paper leak from 2022 onward, with public publication of findings.

None of these requires a constitutional amendment. None requires a coalition. They require one signature in one file in one building.

Why this minister, why now

Because the ministry that touches every household in India has been run with the casualness of a temporary assignment. Because every NEET re-test is a generation discounted by a year. Because rewriting textbooks without academic consensus turns school into propaganda and graduation into estrangement.

There is no good time to ask for a resignation in Indian politics. There is only the right reason. We have one.
