Sack the Education Minister

Demand the resignation of India's Union Education Minister over chronic policy failures, repeated exam-paper leaks and the politicisation of school curriculum.

The Demand

We demand the immediate resignation of the Union Minister of Education. The portfolio has presided over rolling failures of the National Education Policy rollout, repeated paper leaks in national entrance exams, and the rewriting of school textbooks without academic consensus or transparent review.

Why This Matters

Education is the one ministry that touches every household in India. Every leaked paper is months of a student’s life. Every politicised chapter is a generation’s history. A ministry this consequential cannot be run as a press-conference factory.

No private corporation would keep a CEO who oversaw this many recalls. Public office demands the same standard.

Context

Recurring leaks of NEET, NET, and other competitive exams have left lakhs of students in limbo each year. NCERT textbook revisions have removed or compressed material on subjects ranging from the periodic table to constitutional movements, with no peer-reviewed rationale published.

The minister has, on multiple occasions, declined to take direct responsibility — citing junior officials, state agencies, or "external influences." Accountability stops at the desk that signs the file.

What Signing Does

Each signature is a public, time-stamped demand for resignation. The full count is shared with media partners, opposition leaders, and the Cabinet Secretariat. We do not collect your name, email, or phone — only your verified click.
